Locked authoring and synchronization reliability update

Stacking, Exclusive Groups, And Transitions

Combine compatible semantic States deterministically and replace mutually exclusive alternatives without flashing back to source.

Pose Overlay 1.0.2 UE5.8

Stackable States

Stackable States can contribute together. Set order, State order, request order offset, composition ownership, and weights determine the final deterministic result.

Exclusive Groups

Use an Exclusive Group for semantic alternatives that should occupy one slot, such as Rifle versus Pistol. Selection Priority resolves competing requested alternatives inside that group.

Do Not Use Exclusivity To Hide Bone Conflicts

Weapon and injury States are often compatible concepts even when they touch the same upper-body bones. Resolve their overlap through State ownership, Stack Order, and composition instead of forcing them into one Exclusive Group.

Replacement Transitions

When one Exclusive Group winner replaces another, Pose Overlay transitions directly from the old semantic contribution to the new one instead of dropping to the unmodified source between them.

Context And Animation Substitution

Changing the winning Context or Animation Override is a substitution inside one State contribution. Local transition overrides can refine that substitution while State Exit Transition still controls leaving the State.

Weight Chain

Visible influence can include Set request weight, State request weight, transition weight, per-bone Overlay Weight, and Stack node Weight. Diagnose the owner of an unexpectedly weak result instead of increasing every weight.
