Locked Authoring And Synchronization Reliability

Pose Overlay 1.0.2 preserves locked authored results across inherited edits, captures new Aim points from the presented cursor pose, and makes synchronization non-blocking and safely cancellable.

1.0.2 Latest Release Locked authoring and synchronization reliability update UE5.8

Release Notes

Improved

Synchronization now uses a cancellable non-blocking notification and rejects stale candidates safely if authoring changes during the run.

Fixed

Locked Context, Animation Override, and Aim results now rebase across parent changes instead of drifting or snapping to the new inherited pose.

Control Rig IK/FK switch changes, Boolean controls, transform channels, and bone-composition channels are preserved when locked descendants are rebased.

New Aim points now initialize from the pose presented at the graph cursor, and Control Rig presentation remains aligned when moving between points after inherited edits.

Release Scope

Pose Overlay 1.0.2 strengthens locked child authoring across States, Contexts, Animation Overrides, and Aim profiles. Authored results now remain stable when inherited parent data or Control Rig IK/FK representation changes, Aim points capture the pose presented at the graph cursor, and synchronization runs through a cancellable non-blocking notification while stale candidates are rejected safely.
